Run every campaign — newsletter, promotional, transactional, drip — from one self-hosted dashboard, on any SMTP provider, with no contact-tier ceiling.

## Campaign workflow

1. **Build** with the drag-and-drop editor, pick from 100+ templates, or paste raw HTML
2. **Segment** — combine fields, tags, and behavior with AND/OR/NOT
3. **Test** — send to a preview address, run A/B variants, validate spam score
4. **Schedule** by timezone or send immediately
5. **Track** opens, clicks, bounces, unsubscribes, conversions in real time
6. **Re-engage** — resend to non-openers, retarget by segment

## Deliverability

- **SPF / DKIM / DMARC** wizard guides you through every DNS record with copy-paste output
- **Bounce + complaint loops** auto-update subscriber status from SES, SendGrid, Mailgun, Postmark webhooks
- **List-Unsubscribe (RFC 8058 + RFC 2369)** auto-emitted on every send — Gmail and Apple Mail show native one-click unsubscribe
- **Warm-up scheduler** ramps daily send volume gradually on new IPs to build sender reputation
- **Suppression list** (global + per-list) prevents accidental re-sends to opted-out addresses

## Sending engines

Plug in any of these SMTP providers with two clicks:

- Amazon SES (recommended for volume)
- SendGrid · Mailgun · SparkPost · Postmark · Elastic Email
- Mailjet · MailerSend · Sendinblue/Brevo
- Any RFC-compliant SMTP server

Multiple servers can be configured simultaneously with round-robin or priority routing — handy for splitting marketing traffic from transactional.

## What's NOT in scope

AcelleMail is the marketing UI; it does not directly send emails — your SMTP transport does. AcelleMail is **not** a transactional API replacement for SendGrid / SES — it sits on top of them. For 1:1 transactional flows from your app, talk to the SMTP transport directly or hook into the AcelleMail REST API.
